News & Updates
Rather than do a few major updates a couple times a year, I'm hoping to keep up with smaller, more frequent changes. This week's newest photos can be found here.
In other news, Ye Olde Photoblog is up and running. It will mostly be a collection of random thoughts, explainations of the creation of various photos of mine, and other images (photos or otherwise) that I find inspiring. My plan is to post a few times a week.
I've added another portfolio called Yellow Wood and rather than listing them on the new page, you can just go directly to the gallery. Most of the photos are of Fort Ransom State Park in North Dakota.
Also, in the next week or two, I'm going to be rolling out a blog that will be attached to this site.
I've added a few more photos in the Prairie gallery as well as added some needed navigation to the bottom of all the gallery pages. Also, I'll keep the most recent additions here.
It's taken a little longer than I thought it would to create this site, though it wasn't unexpected once I started working on the gallery. I will continue to make improvements and welcome any suggestions.
Many of you may wonder about the naming system. Some of the photos have been exhibited before and, therefore, already have titles, while others few have seen. In regards to the latter I decided I would simply use the file name as that would be easiest and least confusing.
I've finally made it into the 21st century: I have my own website. That's not to say it's been easy as I have had to relearn much of what I've long forgotten. This will also be an ongoing task, forever update, forever tweeked.
I'm a real-life comminsioned artist. President Badal of Jamestown College showed interest in buying some pieces (of the ND persuasion) for the newly renovated Ed and Elaine Nafus Commons (Westminster). Click here to see the photos. He's also commisioned Brock Drenth and another alum. The ribbon-cutting ceremony is set for Oct. 19 at 2:00 p.m.
